Combining My Blogs

I started a blog about my French horn learning path and musicianship on hornjourney.com back in May 2023. Later, after retiring from MathWorks in March 2024, I started a second blog, on matrixvalues.com, about MATLAB and image processing in MATLAB.

I've now decided to simplify my blog writing, publishing, and mailing list management by combining the two blogs into one, Steve's Harmonic Notes, hosted by Ghost and living at steveeddins.com.

Most of you, I realize, are only interested in one these two topic areas, and I've tried to accommodate you. If you subscribed by email to either Horn Journey or Matrix Values (and so you are probably reading this in email), I'm planning to email only occasional summaries of recent posts, and the horn and MATLAB posts will be clearly identified, with links pointing back to horn and MATLAB topics on this site. Also, in addition to the RSS feed of all posts, there is a horn feed and a MATLAB feed.

From time to time, this combined blog might have posts about different topics entirely, unrelated to either French horn or MATLAB. It just depends on how my interests evolve.

If you do choose to subscribe, then you'll be able to leave comments on any of the blog posts. Look for the "Subscribe" links at the top and bottom of the website pages. It's all free, and you'll only need to provide your email address; a password is not required.

Thanks for reading!
